If “Desert” occurs in our minds, a substantial amount of us yearn for Thar Desert. Thar Desert. The best is amazing. Thar Desert in India is the 18th largest desert and is the most awe-inspiring one in India. It covers five states in India towards the north and in the west. The large portion of it is located in Rajasthan which is where the Thar Desert National Park is located in Jaisalmer. Apart from forming a distinctive border with neighboring Pakistan as well, Thar Desert National Park in the Thar Desert is one of the most popular places to visit in Jaisalmer. As the most significant part of Jaisalmer tourism, it includes the camel safari and it’s Thar desert camp experience. Read on to learn more.
Desert Safari Jaisalmer
We sat down on Kali while she drove around on the safari. it was terrified initially, and the abrupt highs as well as lows were uncomfortable. I eventually grew accustomed to it. The scenery before us was the awe-inspiring Thar desert, which stretched over a large and vast area. The sand roses were stunning and the typical examples of them triggered by the wind. Kali was able to walk effortlessly, taking her legs off the sand and singing.
The sun was starting to sink and our guides took us to the most ideal place to watch the sunset. I was slack when the cooling breeze cooled the heat down. The tones changed in the sky, the dazzling yellow appeared smooth, and light shades of red were visible just a little bit away. Rising sand hills looked like they were close to the sun. From afar, maybe the sun was descending to disappear into the middle of the sand risings!
Sam Sand Hills
In our discussion of the sandy ridges we arrived at Sam Sand Hills, the perfect place to enjoy the evening light. Sam hills happen to be the most rises in Jaisalmer and have up to 45-50m high ridges across which our camels traveled. The majority of camping sites within the desert is located within a 2km-3km space, which includes a variety of extravagant tents within the Jaisalmer desert. If you decide to go on any of the Desert Safari tours and/or some Jaisalmer desert camp package it is likely that you will have to spend the night in the same ridges. This is a wonderful experience!
Camel safari was a lot of fun. I was able to witness absolutely amazing nightfalls the first time I’ve ever been in a desert. The shades added a variety of hues immediately to this scene, as if to compensate for the shades that the desert did not have.
Thar desert Camping: Jaisalmer Desert Safari Tips
The setting up of your camp within the Thar desert is a necessity when visiting Jaisalmer There are numerous small and large visit companies that organize this short-term or day trip regularly. The cost is the same however, despite the fact that it’s suggested by the requirement to handle it well. It shouldn’t be hard to tell that it will cost you between 1400 and 1500 INR, depending on what you decide to purchase. Be sure to discuss with the coordinators what you will be camping and what you will be able to keep for the cost.

Amidst a barren landscape within me and a galaxy of stars above it, the feeling of nothing and discontent swept through my thoughts as darkness fell. The actual desert is what triggers the same feelings, and when stars take over our night skies, it is hard to resist the desire to feel like tiny specks of dust in the vastness of the universe.
At night
As night fell, we experienced cold and chilly and soon we were rushing to get together around the massive fire. The virus spreads rapidly and then you’re so comfortable in the vast fire area that even after a short time it looks as if you’ve stepped into the cooler.
A couple in Russia began to sing as one guitarist began to play. Everyone joined in the murmurs. The tea was accompanied by tidbits that were replaced by food and drinks later. Travel stories – interesting, shocking, shocking, and frank stories were unveiled. walked barefoot on the sand, yelling names without revealing them and making amusing cries that recurred for quite a while before floating off.
We all decided to leave any tents. had to consider what sleeping under the stars could be without a roof, a bed, and no bed to sleep on.
Sleep under the stars
After we had a good time until we ran out of energy and we were well past the 12 pm mark when we pulled out. I went to my sleeping bag to relax in three layers on top of my head. It was an experience of awe to lay down and gaze at the vast constellation of stars. The stars’ material will remain with me for a long time, and it will be a great addition to my awe-inspiring experiences in Rajasthan.

It’s an experience that can be added to your itinerary during your Jaisalmer sightseeing. Stay in Jaisalmer basically for a night and I’m willing to bet on it to be significant!
